剧情介绍
看《汉欧威广场》时，最让我坐立难安的是男主角弹钢琴那几场戏——手指越弹越急，琴声越响越疯，可他脸上却像戴了张面具，什么表情都没有。主角乔治·哈维的作曲动机与谋杀冲动被编织成同一根旋律线——他每创作一段不和谐音程，银幕上便对应一次视觉上的空间扭曲（倾斜的烛台、被阴影切割的脸）。适合喜欢老电影、或者爱看人物心理慢慢崩坏的观众，周末泡杯热茶，关灯慢慢看最合适。乔治·桑德斯饰演的侦探则提供冷静的对照，用逻辑推演逐步破解谜题，这种理性与疯狂的张力撑起了故事骨架。 最出彩的是拉尔德·克雷加演的作曲家，平时温文尔雅，一听到刺耳的音符就眼神发直，像变了个人。布拉姆擅用深焦镜头与倾斜构图，将维多利亚时代伦敦的街景转化为角色内心阴翳的物理投射。
George Harvey Bone is a composer in early 20th century London, who is under stress because he is writing a piano concerto. Due to this stress, he gets black outs when ever he hears dissonances. When he finds himself after the black out in a different quarter of the town, he returns home, to read in the paper that somebody in that quarter was murdered. Asking help from a doctor at Scotland Yard he is assured that he has nothing to do with it, but he is advised to cut back in his work and get some relaxation like other, ordinary people. At a cheap musical he meets Netta, a singer, who inspires him for a new motive for his concerto. But Netta discovers that this motive could also be used as a song for her. The song gets sold, and she hangs around George to get more songs out of him. George believes that Netta is in love with him, and gets in an argument with his girlfriend Barbara, the daughter of Lord Henry, who wants the concerto for one of his souares.
